Training

One of the objectives of the PELD is to integrate human resource training programs at all levels of education, from community groups to graduate programs, using existing human resources and training local teachers to deliver regular courses in their regions.

In addition, training within PELD is of essential importance for the development of the program. It basically consists of short-term courses that are carried out to train students and professionals in the area of Environmental Sciences, or even technicians from partner institutions. The main objective of the trainings is to train people who can be incorporated into PELD in the future or in another similar initiative at their other sites.
